e. Prasart Museum
Located east of the city, Prasart Museum was built with a very unique and able to capture all the memories of the past nations of Thailand. The owner, Mr. Prasart Vongsakul, who feel very angry because many treasures and relics of ancient Thailand sold abroad, eventually establishing the museum as a form of efforts to restore what once belonged to the people. Mr. Prasart Vongsakul itself indeed is a wealthy businessman who falls in love with the culture and Thai architectural buildings.
Many replicas of palaces all over Thailand, the temples, and historic residence that are exhibited here. Various artifacts can also be found here, all from different era that once passed the nation of Thailand, namely since the Ayutthaya era. Here including the famous red palace, which was a gift of King Rama I to his brother in 1784, and there is a colonial-style mansion of the 19th century.
For a religious nature, visitors can see various Stupa, the Statue of Goddess Guan and a Lopburi-style chapel, and imitation in the Ho Phra Wat Yai Suwannaram. Not only that, for the outside area, visitors can walk around in a garden full of green and tranquility. The cool garden was created with the original style of Sukothai. Not only enjoy the shade of rare plants, but this park also functioned as a place of education. For visitors who like reading, is also available in the museum library houses built to resemble wood. However, most of the collections in this library is in the form of manuscripts and ancient books.
